Executive Adventure Team Building Training Programs
Team Building – Your Path To Success!!
Navigating the modern business environment is not an easy job. It requires dedicated teamwork and skilled leadership. The synergy that comes from putting individuals together to form teams to solve problems, make decisions, and initiate action is a power that must be harnessed for continued organizational success. Today’s leaders clearly recognize that within any team “the whole is greater than the sum of its’ parts”.
Call Of The Wild has created a customized two-day outdoor/indoor experiential workshop designed to enable your team to function collectively as a cohesive, mutually supportive, and trusting team that will have high expectations for task accomplishment and, at the same time, respect individual differences in values, personalities, skills, and behaviours.
In addition to the program listed below, Call Of The Wild has several innovative half day – full day “stand alone” Team building programs.
To get a better idea of what our programs can entail, watch our video below. Remember, though, we will tailor the program to meet YOUR needs, so the finished product will vary from event to event.
The Team Building Process
Phase I – Needs Assessment
The first step in the team building process is to gather relevant data about the team in order to develop a customized team building program.
Phase II – Team Building Implementation Modules
Program Design: Based on the needs assessment, a combination of the following modules will form the team building program design.
- Personal and Team Vision (New or Refining an Existing Vision)
- Managing Change
- Data Feedback
- Building an Ideal Team
- Understanding Team Members
- Role Clarification
- Conflict Management
- Problem Solving and Action Planning
- Facilitating Teams
The Outdoor Program
This portion of the workshop is “Hands On”, meaning individuals will fully participate in each activity. The outdoor exercises have been carefully tailored to dovetail with the indoor seminars; some are designed to emphasize individual action to achieve team objectives, while others stress team dynamics. All activities are also an introduction to traditional Canadian sports. These will include snowshoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, and snowmobiling in the winter months. Downhill skiing and snowboarding are also available locally. Summer time will find the activities centred around the lakeshore – canoeing, white water rafting, wilderness camping skills, etc. During the course of these activities participants will be presented with a scenario which will require team work in order to be successfully overcome.
This program is designed for groups of 12 – 20 participants. If you have such a group that could benefit from this unique program, drop us a line and we will mail you a detailed proposal for your perusal.
There are also several options for less facilitated, “fun day” style Team building activities.
